She also served as Deputy Director General and then Director General of the French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products Safety (ANSM), and as a diplomat on health and social affairs issues at the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations in New York. She has led major missions in regulation, public policy evaluation, and international negotiations.
