📢 Calling for #Medtech#CEOs – step into the conversation !
Between regulatory fibrillations & financing headaches, we are facing similar storms and challenges. Leading a Medtech company today means more than just keeping the heart of your company beating – it’s a combination of vision, resilience and strategy.
That’s why we’ve teamed up with Goodwin France to launch an exclusive #CEOonly morning coffee : a conversation space by and for Medtech CEOs. On the agenda :
Two months of strategic reflection, experience sharing, and renewed energy – March and April reinforced our ambition: to support healthcare innovators as closely as possible to their realities. A look back at the start of spring that was anything but quiet.
#INNOVATION
As 2025 begins with a bang, we continue to assert our role as a catalyst for healthcare innovation. More than ever, we are committed to supporting and connecting healthcare innovation stakeholders.
L’Impro de la Valo #2 : The battle continues !
Because entrepreneurship also means knowing how to improvise, this evening we explored five themes that reflect the challenges of the world of innovation:
– The best way to mess up your pitch? – Valo’s after-sales service, hello? – Welcome to the Startup Academy! – Eureka! And now who’s paying?! – Investors wanted (like a Western)
For five weeks, we shared our thoughts and questions with you, always with the desire to collectively advance the value of health research.
At the beginning of 2025, rather than formulating our wishes alone, we opened a collective wish box. We invited our partners, clients, friends, and healthcare innovation stakeholders to take up the pen. From these contributions, a unique project was born: the creation of a collective #manifesto that will be updated each year thanks to you.
Throughout the year, we will share each #wish, behind which lies a vision, a transformational challenge, or a daily challenge. And because our mission is to support healthcare innovation, each wish resonates particularly with our commitment.
And good news! There’s still time to become a part of the manifesto!
Between inspiring meetings, strategic training and transmission :
Webinar with Emmanuelle Quilès
In March, we had the pleasure of inviting Emmanuelle Quilès to share her experience during an exclusive webinar hosted by Julie. An inspiring exchange of energy, sincerity, and enthusiasm highlighted her rich, atypical, and diverse career path and a clear-eyed perspective on leadership and innovation.
As part of our initiatives, LallianSe continues its contribution to the #Sorbonne University Diploma: the #DUGBM. This professionalizing program addresses the key issues of biomedical research and innovation.
In this same approach, we had the pleasure of speaking with the Imagine Institute, with whom we are continuing our collaboration through the BioLaunchpad program.
After presenting our #Integrator concept and our initiatives a few weeks ago, we are delighted to have contributed by joining the final jury. Our mission: to challenge the pitches of project leaders!
We had Mireille, the singer, then Eva, the entrepreneur/traveler, then Eve, the pastry cheffe, who gave way to Geoffrey, the guitarist… A few weeks ago, we were delighted to welcome Nandi Dondia, pianist AND seamstress, to the #LallianSe team, as an intern as a Start-up & Innovation Manager.
After an already impressive career path—chemical engineer, master’s degree at University Paris-Saclay, experience in intellectual property—Nandi recently completed the BioLaunchpad training course and presented her Papilio.Bio project to a final jury, which included Julie (a fun and inspiring moment!)🤝
Because entrepreneurship also means knowing how to improvise, during this evening we explored 5 themes that reflect the challenges of the world of innovation. And… here we go for 5 weeks of sharing thoughts!
Today, focus #𝟏: How to mess up your pitch?
Pitching… and missing the mark. A classic, right?! We’ve all seen – or experienced – those moments when the innovation is there, the investment thesis is robust, but the message doesn’t get across. Too many details, no emotion, stress, a story that doesn’t take off… and the opportunity that slips away. Is it a science?! Is it an art?!
At LallianSe, we not only support the construction of the investment thesis, but also the art of putting it to music. Because convincing isn’t just about lining up numbers and facts. It’s about creating an impulse, a dynamic, a spark that will make them want to follow & contribute to the adventure.
❓And you, what do you think? Science? Art? What’s the worst mistake to avoid in a pitch?!
Don’t stray far, the other 4 themes are coming soon!
During this evening, we explored themes that remind us that innovation also means knowing how to improvise. Five challenges, five themes, five thoughts.
Today, focus #2: after-sales service, hello?
Who has never had to deal with a “breakdown”? A challenge, a doubt, an unforeseen obstacle… it happens to everyone.
At LallianSe, we try to transform these uncertainties into learning levers, into experiences. This is what gave birth to the #Embûches de l’Innovation, a series of testimonies on the difficulties encountered and the challenges transformed into opportunities.
SAV is also this: questioning, challenging, readapting. Everything that seems negotiated, everything that seems acquired… is always debatable. Reflecting, revising, reviewing. Adapting, reinventing, and sometimes rebuilding. These are essential steps to move forward (not too often either…!). But just remember that nothing is fixed and that it is always possible to bounce back (resilience, are you there?).
🔄 And you, how do you manage “breakdowns” in your projects? Share your tips or experiences in the comments!
Stay connected, we will soon share the other 3…..
The evening allowed us to dissect five essential themes for understanding the challenges and opportunities of innovation.
Today, focus #3: Welcome to the Startup Academy!
Having an idea is good – being supported is better. Good ideas deserve good mentors to take them further.
Even more, it is access to the experience of others, sharing and mentoring that make all the difference. Everything that you can’t find in a manual, but that you learn from the “experts” who have experienced it and who know what they are talking about.
Learn, experiment, train: what could be better than being surrounded by those who have already taken the winding paths of entrepreneurship? It is these interactions with entrepreneurs and experts that allow you to accelerate your thinking, avoid mistakes and ultimately give yourself every chance of success.
And you, what have you learned the most in your career? Is it a mentor, a shared experience, or specific training? Share your insights in the comments!
Stay connected, the latest other themes are coming soon…
L’impro de la Valo #2 allowed us to delve into key themes of innovation.
Today, focus #4: Eureka! And now who pays?!
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK… when financial reality knocks on the door, and that moment when the brilliant idea collides with a much more pragmatic reality: that of economic viability and financing. A great idea, no matter how bold, requires a solid business model. At LallianSe, we support project leaders to build a robust investment thesis, so that ideas come to life… and reach the market.
But the question that arises is much broader: who will pay for this innovation to benefit patients, the healthcare system? Because financing innovation is good, but agreeing to pay when innovation has a direct impact on the health and well-being of patients is even better, and market access remains a critical issue.
So, how can we work intelligently on this issue? How can we ensure that innovation truly benefits patients, while remaining viable for the healthcare system, healthcare stakeholders and investors? It’s about aligning everyone’s interests and preparing the ground for market adoption. This involves in-depth work with investors, institutions and, first and foremost, industry players.
Shall we discuss this together during a series of webinars in the spring? We’re preparing an exchange for you to decipher these issues, share best practices and key questions.
Would you like to be added to the guest list?
Stay connected for the latest theme to come…
And at last but not least, this theme which transformed the stage into a saloon… Thank you Hélène Chausson for this one!
Today, focus #5: Investors wanted (in the style of a western)
In the ruthless world of innovation, one might think of a duel between entrepreneur and investor, where you have to draw your pitch faster than your shadow to convince the venture capital sheriff. But is this really the right scenario?
The investment gold rush is far from being a zero-sum game. Pioneers and gold seekers explore a vast and uncertain territory. Because behind the gold, there are a thousand realities: a promising vein? A rare nugget? 24, 18 or 14 carats? A complex alloy? Investing is knowing how to distinguish the sparkle from the mirage.
At LallianSe, we help entrepreneurs map their territory, identify their true wealth and value and structure their approach so that their project is not just a mirage in the desert, but a controlled conquest.
This concludes this behind-the-scenes look at innovation. Five themes, five angles to decipher together the challenges of financing, valuation and pitching.
We love turning pitfalls into opportunities and sharing these thoughts with you. So, are you ready to build – and not just improvise! – the future together?
New year, new challenges, but always the same energy! These first two months of 2025 marked the launch of new dynamics for LallianSe between innovations, meetings, training and strategic collaborations. A look back at these highlights that punctuated our start of the year
#INNOVATION
As 2025 gets off to a flying start, LallianSe continues to assert its role as a catalyst for healthcare innovation. More than ever, we are committed to supporting, connecting and catalyzing healthcare innovation.
January began with the traditional 2025 wishes, an opportunity to share our vision for this new year and to affirm our ambition: to continue building bridges between healthcare stakeholders to transform innovation into concrete solutions. And as we wrote in our previous article, let’s write the rest together, literally! So we innovated and set up a virtual wish box this year, in which you can share a wish (personal, professional, for health or something else?) and become an actor in a collective manifesto that will be published during the year.
The highlight of January was undoubtedly the evening ofL’Impro de la Valo which brought together an engaged audience. An evening which – we hope! – kept all its promises, between oratorical jousts, moments of laughter and strategic discussions around the challenges of valorizing research.
By the way… stay tuned… for a few days now, we have been looking back at the five key themes that marked the evening and sparked lively discussions.
Another huge thank you to all the participants, our partners and of course our players who brilliantly took up this challenge!
How to transform a scientific discovery into concrete innovation?
This was one of the founding questions of the training day that LallianSe had the pleasure of organizing for the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale. The objective: to support academic researchers in early therapeutic development and industrial transfer. We are convinced that innovation also involves the transmission of knowledge and key tools to better promote research. This session was an opportunity to share our expertise and support tomorrow’s players in their early strategic approaches.
In this same spirit of sharing and support, we had the pleasure of speaking at the Biolaunchpad program, answering a question: Launching a startup in life sciences: where to start? From the valorization of research to entrepreneurship, including financing and strategic development, innovation in health is based on multiple expertise and strong synergies for which we contribute to transmitting our experience, challenging entrepreneurs, nourishing collective dynamics and trying to inspire the next generation of innovators.
These first two months have confirmed the 2025 momentum and strengthened our commitment to health innovators. We are continuing this momentum with other initiatives, meetings and ambitious projects to come.
Stay connected, the rest promises to be just as exciting !
We are excited to continue our collaboration with the Institut Imagine through the BioLaunchpad training program.
After presenting our #Integrator concept and our initiatives a few weeks ago, we are delighted to have contributed by joining the final jury a few days ago. Our mission: to challenge the project leaders’ pitches!
This collaboration is part of our commitment to helping accelerate healthcare projects by sharing our experiences and expertise. Thank you to the Institut Imagine for this opportunity!
Launching a life sciences startup: where to start?
At #LallianSe, we are committed to supporting healthcare entrepreneurs and building bridges between research, innovation and entrepreneurship. This is why for the past two years we have been collaborating with the Imagine Institute through its #entrepreneur hashtag training and #startup project acceleration program, BioLaunchpad.
On this occasion, Julie Rachline presented LallianSe : ✅ Our#integrator concept, which combines expertise, strategic support and financing strategies ✅ Our ecosystem, which promotes meetings between researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, health professionals and many others ✅ Our initiatives aimed at students, managers, or our commitment to AP-PH spin-offs with #ASIIA
From the valorization of research to entrepreneurship, including financing and strategic development, health innovation is based on multiple expertise and strong synergies for which we contribute to transmitting our experience, challenging entrepreneurs, nourishing collective dynamics and trying to inspire the next generation of innovators.
A big thank you to the BioLaunchpad teams for this opportunity & for more information on the program do not hesitate to contact: Pauline Seiter & Sixtine Dumas.
February 2024
For the past year, we have been collaborating with the Institut Imagine through its Bioentrepreneurs Launchpad program, focusing on training #entrepreneurs and accelerating #startup projects.
We are thrilled to highlight a new synergy today with Anna, a communication specialist in France and internationally, who has contributed her #expertise to support project teams.
In our #DYSL, her mastery of the subject had already convinced us in crafting our narrative and also in the communication strategy of our flagship initiative, BrainTale.
In the deployment of its hospital immersion initiatives and LallianSeEducation, the University Diploma of Sorbonne, DU GBM, whose management is ensured by Julie Rachline and whose organization is partly operated by LallianSe, we are proud to announce a new synergy made by LallianSe: a cross partnership between the DU GBM of Sorbonne Université, and the Bioentrepreneurs Launchpad program launched by the Imagine Institute – X-HEC Entrepreneurs & Université Paris Cité, Université Paris-Saclay & ESCP Business School. With very complementary approaches, one for acculturation to valorization and the other for the creation of startups, we decided to combine these training courses in order to offer 2 tailor-made courses. Contact us at du.gbm@lallianse.com now!
Launched by the Institut Imagine – X-HEC Entrepreneurs & Université Paris Cité, this is a program for training #entrepreneurs and accelerating #startup#healthtech projects, with a strong impact for patients s addressed to scientists, pharmacists, engineers or even business and legal.
Three LallianSe #Experts ensured this collaboration this year: Pascale Maisonneuve around strategic #regulatory aspects, followed by a 2nd one with Emmanuelle Deponge with an #investor focus and finally the last one with Chantal BELORGEY (Haute Autorité de Santé) about the market access. Three essential axes that make up the investment thesis!
Sharing our experiences by supporting the training of the professionals of tomorrow: this is the approach that we favor, in addition to our other activities, to build the environment favorable to the #success of #innovations.
How to transform a scientific discovery into concrete innovation?
This was the challenge of the training day that LallianSe had the pleasure of organizing for the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale. The objective: to support academic researchers in early therapeutic development and industrial transfe
o answer this question, we have set up a team of #ExpertsLallianSe composed of Emmanuelle Deponge for the steering, Olivier Favre-Bulle, for his intervention on preclinical and translational issues, and alongside Anne DOUAR & Jean Philippe ANNEREAU for the animation of concrete workshops.
Their mission ?
🎯 Provide practical and directly applicable knowledge to accelerate the valorization of research projects 🎯 Help researchers structure their approaches using good practices in industrial transfer 🎯 Encourage exchanges with experts in the field and share experiences to enrich their perspectives
This training is part of a partnership initiated in 2019 between #LallianSe and the #FRM, aimed at structuring and amplifying the impact of the valorization and maturation of biomedical research projects.
2nd edition : January 27th 2025, at Institut Pasteur
The winning team of the first edition is putting its title back on the line!
Join us for a unique theatrical improvisation match, where the promotion of research takes on a new dimension!
Same format: 3 teams of 3 candidates, formed in advance. Each team, composed of an Entrepreneur / Researcher, an Investor and a representative of a technology transfer organization – where each does not play their role – will compete in comparative improvisation around a point of negotiation of a letter of intent.
Between experience, fantasies and realities, the players will stage the funny situations – or less! – of the negotiations, divergences and perspectives that form the backstage of innovation and reveal the different points of view.
The winning team will be elected by applause, and the refereeing, according to the rules of theatrical improvisation, will allow the orchestration of an animation of approximately 1h15, punctuated by dynamic exchanges with the guests. The evening will continue around a friendly cocktail.
Stay tuned to discover every week the talents of #LImprodelaValo, where innovation and improvisation meet!

🎭 L’Impro de la Valo #2 : what a game! 🥊
THANK YOU to all those who made this evening a unique and memorable moment!
In the cage of the Institut Pasteur, between bursts of laughter, voting cards, fouls, whistles, Marseille (or Brazilian, or American) accents, sharp strategy and overflowing creativity, 12 players, 3 captains, 2 MCs, and 1 referee brought to life a battle around innovation.
Whether they played in trios, duos or even alone against each other, a huge BRAVO to our participants:
🎉 Congratulations to the big winners of this edition: Nicolas, Amandine & Guillaume aka #greenteam ! A well-deserved victory after an incredible performance on stage.
Of course, thank you to our enthusiastic audience, who played the game until the end with their votes and their communicative energy!

Before the Christmas break, we had the pleasure of introduing our 9 players , as well as Hélène Chausson (BrainTale) who will once again be in the spotlight this year with her dual role as referee and improvisation coach.
Last year as a player (#redteam), he returns this year in a brand new role: master of ceremonies!
With boundless energy, he will know how to maintain the electric atmosphere of the event… but be careful, he will not be alone… Who will be by his side?!
December 19th, 2024
This week, we are pleased to introduce you to the last of the 9 players who will take the stage :
We also have the honor of introducing Hélène Chausson(BrainTale) who will once again be in the spotlight this year with her dual role as referee and improvisation coach. With her unique expertise, Hélène will guarantee rigor, impartiality and an expert – and incorruptible – eye on the teams’ performances.
And since good news never comes alone, we have two other surprises in preparation: the two masters of ceremonies who will guide this incredible evening.
The Institut Curie, Institut Pasteur & LallianSe invite* you to a quirky and exclusive professional evening, where laughter mixes with innovation!
A theatrical improvisation match around the theme of promoting research, organized jointly by the teams of the Institut Pasteur, the Institut Curie and LallianSe, forming 3 teams of 3 candidates, formed in advance. Each team, made up of Entrepreneur/Researcher, Investor and representative of a technology transfer organization, – where each does not play their role – will compete in comparative improvisation around a point of negotiation of a letter of intention.
Between experiences, fantasies and realities, investors, entrepreneurs / researchers and development players take the stage to share funny situations – or less so! – and react on themes of negotiations, differences and allow everyone to identify the point of view of others.
Using the applause meter, the victorious team will be designated, and the refereeing, according to the rules of theatrical improvisation, will allow the orchestration of an entertainment lasting approximately 1h15, punctuated by dynamic exchanges with the guests, before continue with a light cocktail planned for the occasion.
Standing ovations to our team captains and partners:: Jérémie, Alexandre et Julie, as well as to our referee Helene Chausson from BrainTale, who orchestrated this evening with talent and originality.
Finally, we thank the numerous spectators who came and the event was sold out. We are sorry not to have been able to register everyone, but….
We are delighted to announce that the victorious blue team, decided by public vote, will defend their title in our next edition! #Staytuned 🏆
At LallianSe, we believe that the future is built together, thanks to collective intelligence and inspiring sidesteps. So, at the beginning of 2025, rather than formulating our wishes alone, we opened a collective wish box. We invited our partners, clients, friends, and healthcare innovation stakeholders to take up the pen.
From these contributions, a unique project was born: the construction of a collective #manifesto that will be updated each year thanks to you.
Throughout the year, we will share each #wish here, behind which lies a vision, a transformational challenge, a daily challenge. And because our mission is to support healthcare innovation, each wish resonates particularly with our commitment.
After crossing the Atlantic to participate in The MedTech Conference in Toronto, then in #HLTH24 in Las Vegas, it’s time for #MedTechMalta2024: a conference that brings together investors, startups, and industrialists, under the co-presidency of Giovanni Lauricella and Dylan Attard MD, MRCSI, MEnt.
With Julie contributing to several highlights: the opening of the conference with the CEO-only Forum, and two panels highlighting the challenges of investor/entrepreneur relations and the challenges and pitfalls as a CEO. Not to mention the award won by Julie , nominated in the Female HealthTech Leader of the Year category!
This can only resonate with our DNA and our values at LallianSe: creating spaces where leaders can exchange, help each other and build collective intelligence are part of our missions!
Investment prospects, market development, opening of activities and M&A while displaying strong and international ambitions – these events allow us to prioritize and organize our ambitions!
It is also an opportunity to open spaces for exchanges and dialogues, to anticipate challenges and explore solutions together.
🧠 The brain is mysterious. There is much to explore…
From their #manifesto to the launch of their #podcast, “The White Side of the Brain,” with inspiring conversations from leaders who will share their visions and expertise, BrainTale is at the forefront of innovation in brain health!
A big thank you to our #Experts LallianSe Anna, Laura & Shahrzad for helping to design these two projects and congratulations to the entire #TeamBraintale for their commitment.

At LallianSe, we believe that strategic collaborations are the foundation of all success...
For 3 years, LallianSe has been collaborating with Voisin Consulting Life Sciences (VCLS) and its #Neighborhood initiative: a #support program for #healthcare #startups that offers a series of interviews, discussions and mentoring sessions over 12 months. On December 3, the annual showcase marked the end of this adventure for the 2024 class, including a pitch contest highlighting their achievements. But if this journey ends for the #Neighbors 2024… the adventure continues for our collaboration! We are delighted to continue this collaboration and to support the next #Neighbors promotion in 2025 with our #Sessions360°, designed to meet the strategic challenges of the program.
For the 4th consecutive year, we are #partners of Eurasanté through: BioFIT Event, MedFIT Event and MEDigIT Event. These annual meetings bring together key players, promote knowledge sharing and the emergence of innovative projects. As a #Health Integrator, we are happy to support these #initiatives! A big thank you to the Eurasanté team, especially Célestine Fillon, and to all the participants for their commitment and trust.
Finally, if November and December were marked by collaborations and projects, the year 2024 allows us to anchor our added value as a catalyst for innovation in health.
As 2025 dawns, we are ready to take on new challenges and we will continue this collective adventure by relying, among others, on our community and our partners.
A huge thank you to all of you – customers, partners and members of the LallianSe community – for your trust and commitment.
See you in 2025 to write the sequel! (Litterally… stay tuned!)
