About last months #November & #December

November

November has started with an exciting news for one of LallianSe clients portfolio companies since 2018 and our Expert-in-Residence Stéphane Milot: Congratulations to Biomunex, and the team led by Dr Pierre-Emmanuel Gerard, founder and CEO of Biomunex, alongside Institut Curie and GTP Bioways, who has announced that “its BiXAb5 project has received close to €3 million ($3.5M) in grants from the French government as part of the ‘Grand Défi Biomédicament’ scheme. A total budget of €5.6 million ($6.5M) is allocated to this project.”. Find the press release here.

It is always with joy that LallianSe participates in discussions on health innovation. This is how you were able to meet Julie Rachline, LallianSe CEO, and Emmanuelle Garnier, deputy director at the Montpellier University Hospital to talk about the approaches they are developing to support innovation within public hospitals around an afterwork organized by Lowpital.

We went through the month with the 26th edition of our Aventures de l’Innovation. We warmly thank Ludovic for this open session, rich in information and intimate.

Finally, November ended with a very good news for another of our long-standing clients: VistaCare by DTAMedical, which has reached a new milestone in its development and is setting up in Besançon. A big thank you for your trust, we were delighted to welcome the team and in particular Naima BEN BELKACEM in recent months in our coworking room in the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital. LallianSe – Life Sciences Integrator continues to support VistaCare by DTAMedical in its project, for ever more innovation and success! A new stage of the Adventure taking shape in Besançon.

December

You had the opportunity to meet us during the 10th edition of #BioFIT2021 and the 5th edition of #MedFIT2021 in digital format from December 7 to 9, 2021 where LallianSe was a partner.

We continued the month with the 27th edition of our Aventures de l’Innovation. We warmly thank Jean-Claude for this update and a question-rich session.

Remember, during FestiLAB #3 in July 2021 we presented Cécile Combes, pediatric physiotherapist at Armand-Trousseau Hospital and #winner of our call for projects, the #ChallengeInnovation launched on the university hospital group #APHP. Sorbonne University.
Cécile spoke for a few minutes to pitch her innovative project: the pikidou … What a great development since then, because in less than a year and thanks to the donations raised at #FestiLAB and then given to the project, a few days ago, the first Pikidou was born! Follow the evolution here🔻

About last months #September & #October

September

September has started with a lot of excitement around a LallianSe team meeting. And what a dynamic return! On the agenda: seminar, brainstorming… and therefore storm of surprises to come … follow us:

LallianSe was a partner of the Pharma HealthTech for the 3rd edition which took place on September 16th. Unmissable event for players and partners in the pharmaceutical industry, this new event was focused on concrete and operational applications that shape the health of tomorrow. Technological innovation specialists were invited around round tables, keynotes or even virtual workshops to discuss the impact of technological progress in healthcare. Congratulations to TechtoMed and Franck Le Meur for organizing this digital event.

Remember, before the summer break, we were announcing the creation of our 2nd coworking space at Bichat Hospital, it’s done! More than a third place, “L ‘Appartement de l’Innovation” is a space for meetings and sharing between stakeholders from the entire healthcare ecosystem: start-ups, Experts, hospital professionals, academics, patient associations … Discover the space here:

Skezi is therefore added to the list of our start-ups immersed in our hospital coworkings: Braintale, VistaCare, UroMems, Nissui, HTFC, Kiplin, Lowpital, Neuroresp, LSLEAD, Nanobiotix, Touline, Advicenne and we hope for many more in the future…!

Congratulations to Siopi, a supportive community smartphone application for people suffering from tinnitus, winner of the 2021 Audition Medical Innovation Award! Well done Robin GUILLARD and the whole team!

LallianSe LAB Bichat: a new adventure !

4 years of LallianSe LAB at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital and the opening of a 2nd LallianSe LAB at Bichat Hospital

March 24th, 2021 :

It is with great excitement that we came to LallianSe LAB Bichat, with a busy schedule but more than essential. Indeed, we had the program to revisit the places, which we had not seen again in September 2020, but also to meet key people at our installation : maintenance manager, safety manager, as well as our neighbors present in the space next to the LallianSe LAB. These exchanges allowed us to introduce ourselves, but also to realize how open-minded and welcoming the different teams of the hospital were to our arrival and our activities, and it is not nothing because, let us remember, a hospital establishment is always a challenge. As a bonus, here are some photos of the space, we can not wait to develop it, in our image and in line with our values, and to fill it with flamingos of course… 🙂

August 18th, 2021 :

A very dynamic return from vacation awaited us! In fact, at the end of July we had launched various orders for furniture in order to block the delivery dates. The last fortnight of August was therefore busy: deliveries, assembly of furniture, installation of wallpaper, decoration… We were able to witness the transformation of space and see the birth of ‘L’Appartement de l’Innovation’.

September 1st, 2021 :

The installation is going on and going pretty quickly! ‘L’Appartement de l’Innovation’ is gradually coming to life. Only a few pieces of furniture to receive and install, but we already feel good in this cocoon. We are eager to show you our new space in Bichat for which we have invested a lot. Only a few days before we publish the first official photos on our social networks, the excitement is growing, we hope you will like ‘L’Appartement’ as much as we do.

September 10th, 2021 :

And here we are, finally with the last delivery : the pretty sofa and cozy armchairs. ‘L’Appartement de l’Innovation’ is beautiful, furnished and ready to receive its first coworkers and visitors. In fact, we have already received requests for visits! They will start next week, we can’t wait to have some traffic and bring this new place to life.

The LallianSe LAB is an initiative born in 2017, with the creation of a 1st coworking space located in the GHU Hôpitaux Universitaires Pitié Salpêtrière – Charles Foix (APHP), then a second in the GHU Hôpital Paris Nord Bichat, called ‘L’Appartement de l’Innovation’ and created in September 2021. Events

June started next to HealthTech For Care where LallianSe will introduce the HealthTech for Patients event event on Monday, June 7th, 2021. Indeed, Pascale Maisonneuve, our VP regulatory strategy, who will open the ball alongside Maryvonne Hiance , President of HealthTech For Care and Ioana-Maria Gligor, Head of Unit European Reference Networks and Digital Health at European Commission. The whole team was happy to be a stakeholder in this event, a real opportunity to approach the ‘patients’ theme from different perspectives.

We unveiled a new episod, the #7 of our chronicle, Do you speak LallianSe ?, with the participation of two members of the UroMems team, find them below :

Following various technical problems during the Giant European Health Tech week, we had to cut short the presentations of Jessica Walker (Atlanpole) and Cécile Jupin (Business France). But with a little imagination and seeing a nice synergy in this duo, we recorded them on a ‘Pitch Party’ format, see the result:

Hello July : FestiLAB #3 !

We can’t end our article without going back on our key event, the one marking the beginning of summer and its recess: FestiLAB #3 !

A magical evening, Entrepreneurs on stage, an incredible duo formed by Marie Modiano et Peter Von Poehl, a warm audience. A moment suspended in time, followed by a garden party under a mild sky and little wonders to enjoy thanks to Meet My Mama. After 2 years of absence, and these 16 complicated months, what a pleasure to see you again! And we are already getting requests for the 4th edition, that’s great because we already have some ideas so… stay tuned!

This is the time for us to thank you again:Marie Modiano et Peter Von Poehl, guests, supporters, providers, partners, volunteers and mostly our benefactors: Goodwin I Alira Health I HTI – Healthcare & Technology International I L3S Partnership I TechToMed and of course our music band, The Entrepreneurs Olivier Blin I Aude Nyadanu, PhD I Jonathan CHRIQUI I Pascale Jordan I Emmanuelle Deponge I Cesar Blin ! Find below our acknowledgment :

At last but not least, let’s not forget our main goal surrounding the FestiLAB : the Challenge Innovation. Initiated byLallianSe since 2018 with the Groupe Hospitalo-Universitaire APHP.Sorbonne Université, the Challenge Innovation is the competition designed to distribute the donations collected during the FestiLAB.

We were proud to announce in February 2021 that the Challenge Innovation #2 Prize was awarded to the DISTRACTION CACTUS project, led by Ms. Cécile Combes, physiotherapist masseur at the CF Resource and Skills Center at Armand Trousseau Hospital.

The Challenge Innovation #2 Prize is accompanied by the entire endowment of € 10,000, as well as support by LallianSe equivalent to € 13,500.It had been given to her behind closed doors given the health situation, so it seemed important to us and we were particularly keen to let Cécile speak at the FestiLAB #3 and present her winning project, the ‘pikidou’. Are you curious about it ? Listen to Cécile here :

We take these last lines to thank you, readers and members of the LallianSe community for your support throughout the past few months. The whole LallianSe team will take advantage of this summer break to replenish our energy… and it will take some because the start the school year promises a lot of nice surprises and highlights, we can’t wait to share them with you! Have a nice summer!

4 years of LallianSe LAB!

4 years of LallianSe LAB!

Few days have gone since the official date, but the facts are there: already 4 candles to blow for the first coworking space immersed at hospital, within the Pitié Salpêtrière hospital. Four years of meetings, discussions, events, creation of projects, challenges, synergies, in short, 4 years of community building and amazing interactions.

On March 10, 2017, the Association LallianSe pour l’Innovation en Santé was born, known as LallianSe LAB. It has started with just two of us, then 3, then more, with bits of string and not a lot of means, but with goodwill and enthusiasm that this “homemade” space was born and that we made ourselves happy to create an atmosphere aligned with our values and our image.

If working in a collaborative space is now trendy and chosen by many companies, immerging such an approach within a hospital and at the center of patient care was, and remains a challenge. Yet in 4 years, we have been able, with investment and agility, to build a place that stimulates creativity, promotes sharing of knowledge and experiences, within the same working ecosystem altogether creating links between different and torn apart worls.

Indeed, today the LallianSe LAB offers a range of diversified solutions: collaborative experience, networking, support, one-off services, events … we are a living lab, initiator and promoting interactions for the ultimate benefit of patients.

These first achievements and the success of these initiatives have encouraged expansion of this concept and potentiality to open a second – mandatory as the first is full! –  LAB within hospital Bichat -Claude Bernard on the GHU APHP.Nord Université de Paris. Opening planned in 2021: proud and excited!

About last month #November

Aventure de l’Innovation #19 on November 24th, 2020 with Joseph Barsey, LallianSe Expert

November was marked by our Aventure de l’Innovation #19, full remote. This event was presented by Joseph Barsey, a LallianSe Expert.

Remember, for the Aventure de l’Innovation #18 last October, we decided to replace the traditional homemade aperitif with a competition, thus offering a privileged interaction a posteriori.

This is how 5 participants were able to have a privileged meeting with Jean-Claude Ghislain (ex ANSM) on November 23rd, 2020.

Our milestones

November, 2 milestones!

Indeed, we celebrated the #5yearsofLallianSe. Our first five-year term told on our Blog, reviewing these past 5 years, and already seeing ourselves into the next 5 years, which will allow us to celebrate our decade. Lets meet soon!

And because every milestone counts, we are proud to announce that LallianSe target of 500 followers on its Linkedin page has been achieved! Thanks to everyone!

Hello December!

We told you last month that despite the strict health protocol, we had to close our coworking space, the LallianSe LAB, at Pitié-Salpêtrière, as of October 30th, 2020 for an indefinite period. We had to extend the closure until the end of December, but hope to reopen our doors on January 4th, 2021!

This closure also led us to postpone the deadline for submitting the Challenge Innovation #2 projects. Indeed, the call for applications being addressed to paramedical and technical personnel, this decision taken by mutual agreement with the Research & Innovation Departement of the Hospital seemed obvious to us due to the current health crisis.

As you know, keeping the connection with our community is essential. So find the Aventure de l’Innovation #20 presented by Pr Laurence Verneuil & Dr Jordan Sibeoni. That conference will take place in digital, on December 17th, 2020, register asap : aventures@lallianselab.com

5 years of LallianSe! A brief review…

#5yearsofLallianSe

Today LallianSe celebrates its fifth birthday! And a lot has happened… It is a great opportunity to look back in the mirror:

In total, 26 LallianSe Experts, 51 companies accompanied by LallianSe Entrepreneurs, 14 start-ups hosted within the LallianSe LAB, 36 events bringing together more than 700 people, soon 500 subscribers on our social networks (thank you!), 12 institutional partners & clients including Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale, CNRS Innovation, APHP Sorbonne université, Sorbonne université, BPI France le Hub, EITH Health, Fondation Maladies Rares, Business France and more to come…

Our young history is made of several key turn points: building up of the team, deployment of our various activities, navigating through crisis … what we will remember through all these years is that the LallianSe community is the major and key strength, so in 𝟏 one word: THANK YOU for your commitment and your willingness to build with us the foundations of better health.

See you all in 5 years to celebrate our 1st decade!

Our team : Karine Coquelin, Group Executive Assistant & Office Manager

1. Who are you and what was your journey until the creation of LallianSe?

After pursuing Art History studies … without really catching up with them, I started working as a salesperson, then switchboard operator and became executive assistant and office manager, functions that I have now held for more than 20 years.

2. Why did you embark on this adventure?

Julie offered me a position as a group assistant and part-time office manager. This allowed me to combine my job as a mother with my “professional job”. The discovery of LallianSe was the icing on the cake!

3. What is the achievement in LallianSe that you are most proud of?

I prepare invoices every month, manage orders from the office … and provide support for those who need it on a daily basis.

4. What are the factors that make LallianSe successful?

The complicity and complementarity that Julie has managed to bring to life within the team.

In 3 words: mother, enthusiastic, strong-willed.

Karine
