A physician, researcher, and entrepreneur who has also long been active in the worlds of art and creativity, Edem moves between realms often perceived as separate.
As the founder of Rumb and Polyominos and president of 49 Nord 6 Est – Frac Lorraine, his career explores the intersections of life sciences, innovation, the human body, creativity, and culture. It is a unique path that invites us to shift our perspective: what if creativity, experimentation, doubt, and even a change in viewpoint—elements essential to both research and art—could also transform the way we build, make decisions, and lead a company?
We have designed this evening to foster open, direct dialogue among peers in an intimate setting:
– What can art—and creativity in a broader sense—contribute to how we approach innovation, leadership, and business?
– How can one remain open to experimentation and doubt when, as a CEO, one must make quick decisions and rally an organization?
– Must we really choose between scientific excellence, business performance, and creative freedom?
